I had the joy of visiting the Largest Hand Planted Forest in the world mid year (2022).
I was easily one of the most interesting ecosystems I have ever seen.
There were Cacti growing beside elderberry. And Grapes growing wild throughout pine and spruce a canopies.
I saw ZERO black soil the entire visit. And so much sand and sand dunes it could have been Little Sahara beneath these trees!

In this video I share my experience and my perspective as a permaculture designer entering this man made(Planted) forest of over 90,000 acres.
