Rain, flooding, traffic, honking, pedestrians, zipping buses, reckless cyclists, potholes - welcome to the Ring Road in New Delhi during the rains, Covid or not!

Moti Bagh Ring Road traffic near the gurudwara, in New Delhi, is noisy with a range of car and three-wheeler and even trucks honking, squealing brakes, sounds of the Metro running on the tracks above, human sounds and more... The green walls of plants seem to have survived on the pillars of the Metro, despite the summer heat! A lot of precious water must have been wasted in keeping them going, to fulfill the NDMC or SDMC contract...

Traffic in New Delhi - sheer madness!

As one passes Gurdwara Motibagh Sahib of the Sikhs in Delhi, the traffic volumes have picked up once more, despite the lockdown in Delhi. The new over-pass for the Delhi Metro Rail Corp. or DMRC heading to Dhaula Kuan has become functional but the Metro is not plying, for Corona safety reasons

Notice the green walls on the flyover and Metro pillars. The plants are remarkably still alive, despite the searing Delhi heat of May, with 46 degrees Celcius!
