We are spending the weekend on the Big Island of Hawai'i with LGF Hall-Of-Famer Chad Kosinski and friends. All the camping and fishing toys they own are in play on this outing.

First, casting with cut bait Opelu (Mackerel Scad) pays off. Chad and Monae hook up to a Blue Trevally (Omilu) and a Peacock Grouper (Roi). The Omilu is released. The invasive species Roi is not.

Over the weekend we also caught A'ama crab (Thin Shell Rock Crab) to use as bait in hopes of catching Mu (Bigeye Emperor).

These guys are too much fun to be with!
