Generations United hosted this webinar on October 9, 2024 to explore generational differences and commonalities in the LGBTQIA+ community and discuss how ageism, homophobia, cultural/religious values, and life course inequalities impact LGBTQIA+ people and the nature of intergenerational relations. Presenters shared ideas for creating safe spaces and programs that intentionally bring people of different ages together to engage in meaningful exchange, advocate for policy changes, and foster intergenerational empathy.
