I took a day to hit the river back in early May. I'm really happy with how it went. I could barely get any interest in the pigsticker, but they were all over the brown trout pattern jerk bait. I focused on 3 different holes in this area, and the first one produced tons of fish. I'm super grateful we have such a healthy fishery to enjoy like this.
