Race recap of the UCI GF Worlds Aalborg

I started well, was always in the head of our race until 1 of the longer climbs killed me just before the top, pity as when seeing the images I guess I could have stayed with the front pack with 1 more effort, I have chosen the wheels of the wrong guy at that time, I had to pick in earlier ... shame.
Anyway, I ended up in group 2 with who I went to the finish line (with a total pack of almost 150 riders), I did win the bunch sprint so that's a small reassurance for the mind.
It just was a high quality group/race when you know that age group 45-49 rode more than 5min slower ... shame I'm not younger :p
Ended up in place 52 out of 270, I can live with that on a World Championship.
