Lake Toho Bass Fishing - What's the best approach? Keep it simple. What looked to be a perfect Spring morning for top water fishing on Toho, turned out to be a little challenging. The weather was perfect, and the Bass were schooling on shad. But, we couldn't catch them. That morning bite doesn't last long. After the surface activity subsided, we had to go back to the basics... Fishing a Texas-rigged trick worm along outside grass lines, through brush piles, and on off shore hydrilla beds ended up being the best pattern.
