Wheel Ride For Beer
My second bikepacking trip from Todd, NC to Damascus, VA but this time I'm solo on my bicycle. Roads are about 60% gravel and 40% paved. The trees are starting to change colors as we near autumn in the mountains.

I find a wild camp site next to the stream, get a few nice drone shots and as usual encounter a few obstacles, all of which are easily overcome.

Hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoyed making it - gravel cycling, bikepaking, mountain fall foliage, relaxing mountain stream. The last 17 miles of the trip on the first day include the Virginia Creeper trail and then again a climb back up that trail on day 2.
