Welcome to Throwback Thursday! This is a weekly series designed to inspire us to dig into our stash of older papers, dies, tools, products, or techniques and make something beautiful.

Today we're making a Heartfelt Creations Shaped Tag Tea Party in a Box with Carta Bella's Welcome Fall paper collection. I've added mixed media effects to some gorgeous Reneabouquets beautiful board and adorned with ribbon and string bows.

You can find a linked supply list on my blog at:

Here are the basic instructions and measurements:
Cut 6 brown base tags
Cut 4 tomato soup liner tags
Cut 6 patterned paper tags. Trim 4 of these just inside the indentation that
the edge of the cutting die makes. If you cut an extra 1/8" off the bottom
of the tag you will not need to trim round the shaped top.

Cut a 1 3/4" x 4 1/2" scrap of brown cardstock for the spine. Score 1/2" hinges on each side.

Cut a 1 5/8" x 4 3/8" scrap of orange cardstock and score 1/2" on each side.

Trim 1 orange liner tag to a height of 4". This will be the pocket. Score a 5/8" flap on the bottom edge. Cut (2) 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" gussets. Score 1/2" flaps on left and right hand sides.

5 1/2" x 2" scrap to line the pocket. Score 5/8" flaps on sides and score down 1 1/2" from the top round edge.

2 1/8" x 4 1/4" patterned paper spine.

Magnetic closure: brown tag trimmed to height of 5 5/8". Patterned paper tag cut to height of 5 3/8". Glue together and score 3 7/8" from the round top edge. Fold on the scored line. Score a 3/4" spine.
