This week's video essay is a look into Dan Gilroy's Nightcrawler. In particular, I focus on how cinematography tells the story, or at the very least, helps to supplement it. I paid specific attention to blocking, movement, and lighting and how all of these elements come together to help give us more insight into our protagonist, Lou Bloom.
