For now, I chose to remain on the outskirts, needing this moment of solitude before rejoining the fold.

I looked up at the sky, now adorned with a tapestry of stars. Each one seemed to tell a story, a silent witness to the passage of time and the endless cycles of conflict and peace. The moon, full and luminous, cast a gentle light over the ravaged landscape, softening the harsh edges and painting everything in shades of silver.
