This is a video on How to Cook Grilled Tuna Belly (Inihaw na Tuna). I am using a special cut of fatty tuna belly for this recipe. It is called Chutoro, in Japanese. This is a cut located near the skin. It is tasty, delicious, and literally melts in your mouth.
Here are the ingredients for this recipe:
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup mirin
2 teaspoons minced ginger
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 piece lime
I used is a special cut of oily tuna belly called "Chutoro". This is not your typical red colored belly (akami). It cam from medium fatty tuna and it is quit pricey too. However, I can say that it is worth more than I paid for.
