The return of AIRVG - Air Velika Gorica 2024 after a multi year hiatus. MiG-21 and Dassault Rafale, the two stars of the airshow. AIRVG this year is placed on the apron in front of the old terminal of Zagreb Airport, located in Velika Gorica, Croatia.

The static display features a nice assortment of Croatian Air Force birds such as the famous MiG-21 which was flown by Rudolf Perešin which was recently returned to Croatia from Austria. One of the most unique MiG-21's out there, the famous "Kockica" painted in a red and white checkerboard. The Dassault Rafale, the future of Croatian Air Force. And an assortment of Croatian Air Force helis such as the new Black Hawk with the Kiowa Warrior, Mil Mi-8/Mi-171Sh, Bell B206 B3 Jetranger III. And a Slovenian Aerospatiale AS332 Super Puma. And a collection of unmanned aircraft and gliders.

The flying display featured Krila Oluje, Wings of Storm aerobatic display team. Zlin 242L display. Pilot rescue exercise with the Mil Mi-171Sh and a pair of Bell OH-58D Kiowa Warriors. Bell B206 B3 Jetranger III display. And the stars of the airshow. The passing of the torch from the MiG-21 to the Dassault Rafale with a display and formation flight.
