We carried out deep sightseeing in Imabari city. In the first video, I'm going to the Imabari Ginza shopping street, which was once very busy as an arcade shopping street, and the cityscape facing the waterway behind it. Rather, the purpose is to see the scenery along the river.

The name of the river is the Kinsei Gawa "the Venus River", which was once the outer moat of Imabari Castle. After the moat was reclaimed, it became a river and houses were densely built on both sides of it, which is a commercial area called Imabari Ginza

There used to be department stores such as Takashimaya, but now it is completely hollowed out and becomes a deserted shopping street. The houses facing the river are also old and there are many private small bridges. Not only the existence of the bridge, but also the buildings built to protrude into the river is interesting. These sceneries touches the heart of a traveler.
