We were lucky enough to visit Scottsdale area for this year’s Waste Management Phoenix Open, with our adidas family. We got a taste of Verrado Golf Club, along with the 500 Club.

Both tracks were solid enough, particularly the back side at Verrado. Highlight holes out there included the par 4 12th and 13th holes. The centerline bunker on the 12th along with the tricked up nature of the ‘driveable’ par 4 13th were the highlight.

The 500 club was fairly straightforward, but the west edge of the property boasts plenty of interest (holes 4, 11, 12).

Happy we’ve seen both properties, not sure we’d go out of our way to head back.
