Todays project on the wood lathe was a really fun project. I have done this type of bowl once before and learned some things I was able to put into practice months later on this piece. This turning project is a lovely piece of Ash cut into a nearly perfect 6.5 inch square that was almost 4 inches thick. I mounted to the lathe to start using a worm screw and turned a tenon on the bottom for the coring of the bowl later. In the end this four corner winged bowl came out great and was finished using a food safe finish that can be found at the link below in the description.
