As is normal, our first run is never our best. This hallway search was a known number of 4 hides, 4 minutes, on leash. I have a plan to clear the closest area before leaving for the further section of the hallway, but after starting she is so driven that I decide not to interfere. That cost us finding the 4th hide, that she was working when I had to call time. The judge was very kind and offered the same suggestion to me, which he was absolutely right! Lesson learned! **I also knew or thought I knew she was working the 4th hide when I called finish, but I've had so many "no's" in those hail Mary desperation calls near timing out that I don't risk it. This time, I should have!!
