Cecilia escapes from her abusive boyfriend Adrian. She later learns that Adrian has committed suicide and left her a significant inheritance, but she becomes convinced that he is still alive and stalking her while invisible. As Cecilia's sanity is questioned by those around her, she desperately tries to prove Adrian's existence and protect herself from his unseen torment.
