CNJ 113 and R&N 425 doublehead three excursions from Minersville, PA to Cressona and return. These trips were the 113's first revenue runs since being restored.

The 113 is an 0-6-0 type steam locomotive built in 1923 by the American Locomotive Works (ALCo) for the Central Railroad of New Jersey. The 113 is the world's largest 0-6-0 and she is one of the only operational Anthracite burning steam locomotives in the USA today.

The 425 was built in 1928 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Gulf Mobile & Northern. The 425 is currently a goodwill ambassador for the Reading & Northern Railroad, often touring its 300 mile rail system.

Early on the 30th we watch the 425 depart the R&N's headquarters of Port Clinton for Schuykill Haven and Minersville. We then see the two steam engines doublehead the excursions, then we watch the 425 tackle the task on her own.

Sit back, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of a steam doubleheader in the Pennsylvania Mountains!
