Was this overkill for what I needed? Yeah, probably. I could have gone to the local pet store and bought what I needed for $20 and been back in less time than I spent on this project. But where is the fun in that?! I've got the laser so I might as well use it! Plus it gave me a chance to share a time saving idea with you!
