There has been a raging debate on fossil fuel emission and the resultant climate change and global warming. In the first half of 2020, The lockdown imposed on the world due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID 19) that originated from Wuhan China, has put the economic activities in many parts of the world to a halt. With everyone under quarantine, the fossil fuel burning has substantially dropped and this gives us a chance to measure its impact on temperature. In this video I have compared the 2020 temperatures of some cities across the world with their 2019 temperatures. The cities are New York, Chicago, Dubai, Agra, Moscow, and Shanghai. The study shows some amazing findings but has it impacted or reversed global warming? Has the virus cooled the world? Watch the video.
