Amateur Historian reacts and analyses the winter tank battle scene in the German 1993 movie called Stalingrad.

As opposed to most war movies about the battle of Stalingrad, this one is the only one from the German perspective which brings forward the tragic tale of the surrounded men of the German 6th Army.

In this battle scene, men from a German penal battalion face a Soviet armored assault.
