Here it crosses the Yukon River at "The Blue Bridge," near the river's first dam in Canada. Over a century ago, paddlewheel boats like the SS Klondike and the SS Keno transported goods and people great distances on the river. Construction of the Alaska Highway during World War II connected Yukon to the rest of Canada for the first time, and marked the end of the riverboat era. Let's fly!
