Here is the dash cam video of the Jeep decided to go for an off road advanture after the straps loosened off. (the dash cam is hardwired and runs anytime there is motion)
The vibration of the road was bad and obviously the straps were not as tight as they should have been. Luckily it went into the ditch and no one was hurt. Watch as it threads through the posts and signs narrowly missing them all.

Since this little adventure happened , there has been some safety chains installed. But hopefully they will never be needed. I have certainly taken my lumps and understand the severity of the what could have happened. Obviously my intentions were not to lose the Jeep .
