Rev. Anthony L. Smith is a Pastor and recording artist based in Compton, CA. At the age of 35 , Smith followed in the footsteps of his father, Willie L. Smith, Sr, who was also musically inclined and a original member of the "Starlight Quintet". Smith released his first album came out saved in November 2000. Wanting to continue his passion of music, he founded Smith & Sons of Jericho pre-pandemic in 2020. Trusting GOD's will, this did not stop Smith from moving forward with his vision. He collaborated with Rev. Bertrand Maurice Bailey, Jr., who is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma now residing in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. They both shared the love of a Gospel classic ministered to thousands over the years. They decided to record and pay homage to Gospel Legend Melvin Williams with a cover version of "Ooh Wee Another Blessing" released November 2020. The musical chemistry between the two Reverend’s created an unbreakable bond which gave birth to a 2nd foundation of the duo "Smith & Bailey" in October 2020 with their first single cover "Jesus Gave Me Water" released February 2021. Both single releases are available now for digital streaming and airplay. Smith has shared the ministry platform with Le'Andria Johnson, Clinton McFarland Zacardi Cortez and Tim Rogers just to name a few.
