The wood produced in the forest mass of the Sierra Norte de Sevilla has been used, among other purposes, for the manufacture of wooden bowls that were used to eat at the ranch during mountain tasks: the dornillos. In the year 2000, Manuel Vázquez gave us a demonstration of the manual carving of this type of container in his workshop in San Nicolás del Puerto in Seville.
