Today I'm talking about a book that focuses on business leaders abandoning society to the looters and corrupt governments. Rand writes about Dagny Taggart and Hank Reardan as they try to complete a new railroad and deal with disappearing business leaders from society. As Dagny tries to get to the bottom of this, she learns a startling truth from John Galt and his friends. It is interesting how Rand depicts a collapsing society, but this book struggles greatly from poor writing, awful characters, and the condoning of anti-social behavior. Definitely avoid this terrible book and consider reading better things.
