The Jedi of the golden age of the republic, experienced an unprecedented peace lasting several centuries. In that vacuum of war and conflict, the jedi adopted some interesting and very pacifist ideas about lightsaber combat. This could be a big weakness for the high republic jedi in the upcoming acolyte show, especially when these fresh faced padwans have to go up against their first dark side opponents.
