In this video I make a new sacrificial fence for my Hitachi chopsaw. A big part of my business is making picture frames and using a sacrificial fence is a great way to make accurate cuts on small moldings. A sharp blade and a sacrificial fence will help you get perfect miters every time. Making a sacrificial fence is also a great scrap wood project since you can generally make one with material you have lying around the shop. I made this sacrificial fence out of Baltic Birch plywood that was once the top of my old outfeed table.

I know I’ve posted videos on how to make a sacrificial fence before but I think this one is more clear and to the point. Also I’m really happy to be working with CMT Orange Tool and thought this would be a good video to show off their blades.
