There is a huge difference between hair sheep and wool sheep! Hair sheep are self shedding and do not need to be sheered. Unlike a wool sheep that does need to be sheared.
Lucy is a Katahdin self shedding hair sheep. Clair is an East Friesian wool sheep. IceLynn is half Katahdin and half Suffolk so near her neck is self shedding but she still 95% covered in wool and needs to be sheared.
