The bull reds were running in Georgetown. Menhaden were schooling everywhere providing a favorite food source for all the reds and sharks in the area. We got a whole net full. To catch these monsters we tail hooked them on circle hooks and cast them out on carolina rigs. Let them swim around on bottom, sit back, relax and hold on when they hit. We were under powered on most of our rods, we had 4 medium light inshore rods with 15lb braid, it worked but it was a hard fought battle every time. we lost as many as we caught.
