bit of a quirky funny video to take a break from a lot of the more "involved" concepts I've been doing recently, also no i didn't actually make a comparison between doom eternal and pupperazzi, it's just a joke. Also just wanted to thank everyone for the recent support, 100k is such a massive number and to be so close blows my mind, until next week!

Dogs, they’re man’s best friend, they’re loyal companions, but most importantly, they’re just quirky little dudes. Being the world’s most popular pet, it’s inevitable they’d worm their way into games eventually. Amaterasu from Okami, Sif from Dark Souls, D-Dog from MGS 5, The annoying dog from undertale, Dogmeat from literally every single fallout game EXCEPT NEW VEGAS, where it’s Rex instead. Silent Hill has an entire ending where you find out that the mastermind behind the whole thing was a dog messing around with some levers. These creatures are truly inescapable, seeping into every single facet of our society. My youtube icon, the brand of my entire channel, is a DOG, IT’S SO OVER.

Regardless, with the amount of representation dogs get it’s only inevitable that dogs ascend from the role of “companion” or “feature” to the main centerpiece of the game. In other words, DOG GAMES, games featuring DOGS doing DOG THINGS (whatever that is). This is my effort in an ongoing series to find the best dog game ever put onto this earth. There’s a lot of dog games in the world and I can’t fit all of them into one video, so let’s get started while we can.

Pupperazzi is a game I found through a twitter account that documents every single game you can pet a dog in, and I’m glad I found it. Simple in it’s premise, as a game you literally just go off of what the title implies. You’re an aspiring photographer who is dropped into a world inhabited by dogs to take photos of them, and by photographer I mean you are literally just a giant walking camera abomination. For a game as wholesome as the premise implies it’s a horrifying revelation to see when you unlock the selfie mode in game. Eldritch abominations aside you exploit random bystanders to gain followers on your twitter page by taking photos of them without their consent, and regardless of how you feel about it I blame the dogs because look at them, look at how cute they are, he’s wearing a little party hat it’s so cute.

There’s normal dogs in this game that stand around doing stuff, but the main highlight is seeing these dogs do things from playing fetch with a stick, to riding bikes, skateboarding, riding mopeds, surfboards, sitting on benches, riding cement mixers, sitting in the back of trucks, I think you get the point. It’s a relaxing game that has you focus on doing quests for dogs that either want you to take specific photos of and/or for them, or cleaning up areas so dogs can do things that you can take photos of. Also obviously as explained from how I found out about the game, you can pet the dogs in the game, your freakishly long camera noodle arms are able pet every single dog you come across, and they’ll follow you around and ruin your photos afterwards by being huge photobombs.

It’s a first person shooter that finally focuses on what’s important, while games like doom eternal have you fighting the eternal demons of dead set on turning earth into a domain ruled by demons for the rest of eternity, Pupperazzi lets you shoot dogs, with your camera, and dress them up in cute little outfits so you can gain even more followers on twitter when you post them online.

An Aiport For Aliens Currently Ran by Dogs, as a game it’s something that surprised me with how much enjoyment I had while playing it. I bought the game based off of the title alone, because honestly as long as it is it seemed very intriguing, and being completely honest, first minute of the game I thought I got scammed, but after playing through the game I can’t express how much this game was worth every penny. Once again as the title says that is exactly what you get in the game, you go around travelling interstellar airports for aliens that are all currently ran by dogs. The interesting part comes from to all the jpegs of the dogs around you in the world, which I will fully admit got many laughs out of me.
