Patrice O'Neal, Jim Norton and Ludacris in studio, along with a phoner from Edward Norton. A lighthearted conversation quickly takes a turn for the worse when Patrice realizes Ludacris is now a product of media training and would rather play it safe than be himself and have an interesting interview with any sort of substance. When Ludacris makes it clear he is in studio to promote himself and his current work, and not to answer questions about things that have happened in the past, Patrice puts his head down in disgust and loses interest. To his credit, Patrice rejoins the conversation and repeatedly tries his best to crack jokes to help Ludacris understand the vibe of the show and to make him more comfortable before realizing he's too far gone and it is what it is.

After the interview, Patrice and Jimmy have a great debate about the interview and an even deeper discussion about Hollywood when the interview and post-interview discussion causes Patrice to have a moment of realization where he feels he is irrelevant.
