Die 2 im Zweiten (translation: The 2 in the second) was a big afternoon show from from IFA in Berlin (Internationale Funkausstellung / International Broadcasting Exhibition). This opening gala took place in Friedrichstadt-Palast (Theatre in Berlin). The program was a mix of live actions, games, talk with guests and show blocks with music. The engagement factor was the wonderful team Gottschalk and Jauch, who improvised a lot, was spontaneously funny, wobbled and just spread a good mood. It was specially designed for the radio exhibition and was not broadcast in between, despite the great success of the moderator duo. During the radio exhibitions in 1989 and 1991, the hour-long show ran daily.
