Day 3 of my West Texas camping trip near the Mexican border in Big Bend National Park. I head to the eastern edge of the park to Boquillas Canyon for a little hiking along the banks of the Rio Grande, and swim to Mexico.

Covering more than 800,000 acres, Big Bend National Park is one of the largest, yet most remote national parks in the country. Big Bend National Park skirts the U.S.-Mexico border and features hundreds of miles of unpaved roads. After a day of exploring the park, hiking, and taking a quick swim to Mexico, I come back to discover my camp was trashed by a windstorm. I wind down the day with adventure fajitas and a few Modelos.
