ഒരമ്മ ആയാൽ എല്ലാം തീർന്നു എന്ന് പറയുന്ന സമൂഹത്തിന് മുന്നിൽ തന്റെ ഉറച്ച തീരുമാനങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് മറുപടി കൊടുത്ത, നമുക്കെല്ലാവർക്കും കോട്ടയം കുഞ്ഞന്നാമ്മ എന്ന പേരിൽ സുപരിചിതയായ പൊന്നു അന്ന മനുവാണ് ഇന്ന് ജോഷ് Talks ൽ. ഒരു മകൾ, ഭാര്യ‌, രണ്ടു കുട്ടികളുടെ അമ്മ.. ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു middle class കുടുംബത്തിൽ നിന്നു വന്ന ആർക്കും ഇത് തന്നെ ധാരാളം ആണ് തന്റെ സ്വപ്‌നങ്ങൾ വേണ്ടെന്നു വെക്കാൻ, പക്ഷേ പൊന്നുവിന്റെ കഥ അവിടെ ആണ് വ്യത്യസ്തം ആകുന്നത്. തന്റെ എല്ലാം എല്ലാം ആയ 'അമ്മ തന്നെ വിട്ടു പിരിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴായിരുന്നു, പൊന്നു താൻ തന്റെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ എത്ര ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടിട്ടായിരുന്നു എന്ന് മനസിലാക്കുന്നത്, പക്ഷേ അവിടെയും പൊന്നു തളരാതെ പിടിച്ചുനിന്നു എന്നാൽ അവിടെ പകരം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടി വന്നത് തന്റെ കലയോടുള്ള ഇഷ്ടം ആയിരുന്നു. കല്യാണം കുട്ടികൾ എല്ലാം കഴിഞ്ഞു എവിടെ സമയം എന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ച നിമിഷം പൊന്നുവിനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നാൽ തന്റെ കലയോടുള്ള ഇഷ്ടം ഒരു വട്ടമെങ്കിലും പരിശ്രമിക്കാം പൊന്നുവിനെ തോല്പ്പിച്ചു. ഇന്ന് കേരളക്കര മൊത്തം ഇഷ്ടപെടുന്ന കോട്ടയം കുഞ്ഞന്നാമ്മ എന്ന ഒരു കഥാപാത്രം ആയി മാറിയത് അന്ന് താൻ പരിശ്രമിക്കാം എടുത്ത ആ തീരുമാനം ആണ്. അങ്ങനെ പല അവസരങ്ങൾ തന്റെ തീരുമാനത്തെ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തു വന്നെങ്കിലും അവിടെ ഒന്നും പതറാതെ പൊന്നു നിൽക്കുകയാണ്, ഒരു മകൾ ആയി, 'ഭാര്യാ ആയി ,അമ്മ ആയി. സ്വപ്നം കാണാൻ പേടിക്കുന്നവർക്കു ഇത് തീർച്ചയായും ഒരു #motivation തന്നെ ആയിരിക്കും .
