This film presents the work of Dr. Gesell, pioneering baby scientist, who studied and filmed infants and children in a famed "baby dome" to attempt to establish a framework of normal and abnormal behaviour patterns. At the time of filming, a massive post-war baby boom was underway, called a "bumper crop" of babies in this film.
