NEW BOSS RC505MKII LOOP STATION!!!!! I want to lie and say I just got this new gear… but I’ve had it for months and have been in a creative standstill. I remembered how much I love to dance decided to film it and incorporate it because I’ve never done that in any of my videos. I stumbled upon some killer FX combinations to make cool new sounds. I especially like how meaty I could make that bass grind, all with vocal FX. I used the MC707 for percussion but tossed on more FX from the looper to thicken them as well. Thanks BOSS. Quick disclaimer. I wrote, filmed and recorded this song about a month ago. I’ve been home sick with Covid and this is the first chance I’ve had to put it together. The footage of me sitting behind the looper however is from yesterday in all my feverish glory. I did re-record the vocals yesterday because I couldn’t pass up this sexy covid voice. Also, I had to cut the video with moments of absurdity and weirdness because I just can’t stand being 100 serious. Part 2 coming out soon…
