Staying cool and an open-air feel was important to us in the design of our DIY cargo trailer camper conversion so Caitlin and I installed RV windows and a Maxxair roof-mounted fan as one of the first steps in our build.

As part of our journey to turn a 7x14 foot cargo trailer into a fully customized DIY camper / tiny home, we were excited to start cutting holes in our trailer. Cutting holes in your trailer is a little scary because once you start, you can’t go back!
