Social Learning Theory suggests that we learn not just by way of reward and punishment for actions, but instead we learn by observing others and imitating their behaviours. We watch, we copy, we practise. And one of the intriguing claims of learning theorists is that this social learning doesn't stop with behaviours - we even learn personality traits this way too.
