Hey Guys,

I wanted to talked about the differences I see between my set of Knipex wrench pliers and my adjustable Crescent wrenches. When I first ordered my Knipex set I was unsure if I would still use my adjustable wrenches. After having both of them in my tool box for a while I can say that I like both for different applications.

I like the using the adjustable wrenches better for higher torque applications. They feel safer to use and require less strength to break a bolt loose, since you don't have to squeeze two handles together like on the Knipex. They are also more convenient is some situations as they are easy to adjust with one hand.

The Knipex work well in low torque applications where the adjust-ability in size is more important than leverage. This means that often times you can use a smaller tool and get into tighter areas with the Knipex wrench pliers than you would with a crescent wrench. The 7.5 inch Knipex wrench pliers can accommodate the same size fasteners as a 12 inch adjustable wrench. So as long as you don't need the extra leverage of the 12 inch wrench, you'll find yourself reaching for the small Knipex more.

Hope this helps! Thanks for watching guys. Please subscribe if you enjoy our videos, leave a like and we'll see you in the next one.
