Making a birch plywood cabinet for my living room to store a variety of books, files and electrical items! This project explored a design concept I had looked at previously - utilising organically shaped cutouts inspired by the forms of the Banksia seeds for door pulls - however this time I changed the materials and resolved some of the previous problems I had. I explored a new layout and composition that had much deeper drawers as well as modified the shapes of the handles to be more ergonomic and better proportioned to the overall form.
