Searching for a giant fish. In this episode Graeme goes sea fishing aboard one of Mark Gannon's Courtmacsherry based charter boats in search of really big fish...Bluefin Tuna. It's a dawn start, but on the way out he shows you how they rig their lures to catch and release Tuna...and there is not a fish bait in sight. It's all done with a rig that tows an entire shoal of fish behind the boat. The idea is to motor around the ocean looking for sea birds diving or Tuna breaking the surface. Then Graeme goes back to the office to try and use his slide scanner to get pictures from yesteryear to illustrate a few other species of Tuna that give good fishing around the world. He also shows some clips of a big Yellowfin Tuna that was taken on a fast trolled lure, and finally puts in an interview he was given in a laboratory where the research was providing statistics on the Yellowfin Tuna. It's almost an hour long watch so pour yourself a drink and put your feet up...Enjoy!
