In recent surveys of European car shoppers and automobile dealers, Chinese car brands are becoming quickly accepted as a high-quality alternative to European models.

China's carmakers have learned a great deal about the global car markets, largely because foreign brands are in Mainland China, operating factories in the world's largest car market as joint ventures with Chinese companies.

Now Chinese automakers are exporting, and are applying lessons learned. In Europe, Chinese automakers have built out repair and maintenance networks, dramatically improved public perception of their safety and quality features, and partnered with local dealerships. BYD has even won sponsorship rights to the European football championships.

Chinese brands also introduce new models much more quickly than the European counterparts, and offer high-end features in their base models which competitors charge premium pricing for.
