We took a detour on our Christmas Market tour of 2023 that brought us to The Capital of Christmas - Strasbourg, France!

These markets unexpectedly became one of our favorites that we visited this year. We sampled French cheese, potatoes, more glühwein, and finally tried one of the gingerbread cookies that we have been seeing at all of the markets around Europe!

France just might win our vote for the best Christmas markets in Europe. We understand why they call Strasbourg the Capital of Christmas! We loved it!
