The artist's life is not a competition. Learning to make art friends and viewing those around me as a community for critique, inspiration and motivation instead of competition has been the biggest growth in my art journey so far. I paint a watercolor study and a larger oil painting in this art vlog! I've been doing a lot of anatomy studies and figure drawings lately. They've really helped me to improve my figurative painting and I can tell I'm a lot more confident painting more complex poses. I hope you enjoy these relaxing painting processes while I share stories of people who have made a positive impact on my art journey and how I'm committing to paying that kindness forward.
