খুশির ঈদের চাঁদ
ঈদগাহে নামাজ পড়ে ভোল
বিবাদ-বিসংবাদ।

আত্মশুদ্ধ হলি রোজা,
রেখে নামাজ পড়ে
নিলি রে তুই ত্যাগ সাধনায়
জীবনটাকে গড়ে
এই রোজারই বিনিময়ে
পাবি রে জান্নাত।

রোজা রেখে অভুক্তদের
কষ্ট বুঝে নিলে
তাইতো যাকাত-ফিতরা তাদের
হাতে তুলে দিলি
গরীব-দুঃখী খুশি মনে...
পুড়ায় মনের শাদ।

মিথ্যে কথা কাজ ছারলি
তিরিশ রোজা রেখে
কপালে সৌভাগ্য-রেখা
লিলি যেন একে
রমজানেরই পূণ্য পাবি
আখেরি নাজাত।
