The sight of a beautiful girl passing by,
My heart pounds like a hammer against my chest,
And “love” is just a miserable lie.
She moves around just like a wild butterfly,
And the very thought of her gives my mind no rest—
The thought of a beautiful girl passing by.
My blood is boiling, and I can’t help but sigh,
While fate looks down towards me and smiles in jest.
For “love” is just a miserable lie.
I lie down on my bed, and I want to cry,
Forever haunted by her image, obsessed
With the sight of a beautiful girl passing by.
I lose myself in the dark, and I want to die—
To rid myself of this sorrowful zest.
For “love” is just a miserable lie.
I fall on my back with my gaze to the sky;
My heart batters like a ram against my chest
With the sight of a beautiful girl passing by,
And “love” is just a miserable lie.
Not my best poem...
