The Whiskey Bandit is a 2017 Hungarian-Romanian movie writed and Directed by Nimród E. Antal. He is a Hungarian-American film director, screenwriter and actor.
The movie is about A rootless tough young man in Ceausescu's Romania crosses the Hungarian border looking for a better future. trying to build a life, realized that in addition to a job, he needed more money for the ideal life he loved. he becomes the most successful bank robber in Hungarian history. People talk about him like a hero. He Always one step ahead of the cops and always downed a whiskey before robbing a bank.
The movie has many good points in my opinion.
The film premiered at the Warsaw International Film Festival on 16 October 2017 and was released in Hungary on 22 November 2017.
