We Dey Yeah are a cultural, quadrille dance group on St Croix. Virgin Islands Quadrille was born out of the influence of the European Quadrille in the 1800s and is the precursor to the American Square Dance. The traditional music that accompanies Quadrille is the official music of the US Virgin Islands known as Quelbe or "Scratch" which is the light and upbeat folk music.
